A. There are a little of traffic exchanges that do not have this requirement--and no one ever gets their websites seen!
All that people do on those exchanges is sign up for free credits and their sites just sit there. No one surfs so not websites get seen.
We want all active members of our Traffic Exchange get their sites seen--and for free! By requiring new members to get started off on the right foot (by first viewing other member sites) everyone wins!
We realize that there are certain people who only want to take advantage of others, who never intend upon being an active particpant of the the exchange and only want free credits. We do not want those people as part of our exchange. Let them take advantage of some novice traffic exchange operator. They won't gain any advantage because their sites will never be seen. Soon the traffic exchange of the novice operator will disappear because no one is viewing any sites.
Q. How can I earn more credits?
A. You can earn credits by viewing sites. Occasionally a bonus link will appear in the surfbar, if you click on it you can earn bonus credits for watching the sites! Additionally you can purchase credits or possibly a membership upgrade to get even more visitors to your site(s).
Q. How else can I earn more credits?
A. You can also earn more credits by advertising your referral link. You will get bonus credits for every unique visitor to your referral link PLUS more bonus credits if they sign up PLUS additonal credits for every site they view after they signup!
Q. How come some people have lots of referrals and I have none?
A. Some people advertise on other traffic exchange websites to get referrals, some put links on their own websites, or they just have a lot of friends on the Internet! Try spreading the word through the web and give everyone your referral link found in the members area.
Q. Isn't there a way to gain visitors to my web site without surfing?
A. Yes, you can cost-effectively buy credits to be added to your account. You will not be required to surf if you buy credits because you are still helping the exchange by offsetting operating expenses with your purchase.
Q. Do you have an affiliate program/referral levels?
A. Yes! Our Traffic Exchange has a 10 levels referral system that allows you to earn free credits when the referrals 10 levels below you earn credits by viewing member sites, all automatically added to your account!
Q. Where can I find my personal referral URL and banners?
A. Log in to your Traffic Account Control Panel and click on Banners in the Menu Bar to get your personal referral HTML code and banners, or click on the Referral link and get your referral url to use without a banner.
Q. I have just submitted a website and my status says "Waiting"? What does that mean?
A. To keep our network safe, we carefully review each web site that is submitted for rotation on our Traffic Exchange. The "Waiting" status means that we haven't reviewed your web site yet, and your web site will not get any hits until we review your web site.
Also, you will need to Assign or Allocate at least 100 credits to each of your sumitted site before it will be reviewed. Any website submitted with less than 100 credits allocated to it will not be reviewed and simply deleted as an inactive site.
You will however be able to surf immediately and earn credits. After the review (within 2 business days), if your web site meets Traffic Exchange "Terms of Service", your website status is changed to "Enabled", and your web site starts receiving hits.
Q. How come I never see my webpage?
A. You don't want to waste credits looking at your own site do you? You may never see your own site, but rest assured 100's of other members will. (If you surf for credits regularly, Many 1000's!)
Q. What happened to my sites?
A. There are a couple of reasons for this happening. First, any website submitted with less than 100 credits allocated to it will not be reviewed and simply deleted as an inactive site. Second, sites that are in violation of the Terms are removed. Finally, if your website had been OK but has not had any credits assigned to it for a period of time, then that site will be removed to keep the website database "clean" and running effeciently.
Q. What kind of websites are allowed?
A. The traffic exchange is used by people of all ages and therefore any pages submitted should be acceptable for a general audience. See the Terms of Service for more information.
Q. Why was my site suspended?
A. If your site was suspended it was probably because the site had popups, breaks frames, or in some other way violated the Terms of Service.
Q. Why should I logout of my account?
A. By logging out of your account you close your session and is good for security on your account.
Q. Can I get a virus from surfing your site?
A. You acknowledge that our Services are provided "as is". cannot guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error free or free from viruses or other harmful components. We do check all sites when added for viruses and will do our best to ensure safe and trouble free services.
Q. How do I cancel my account?
A. We don't know why you would want to do this, but if you do, just login to your Traffic Account Control Panel and click on Delete Account in the Menu Bar.
